Introducing Our New Administrator

Avon Place loves to celebrate our team. Each staff member has a different and unique journey, and to bring them into our family is a privilege. Our Culture of Care is demonstrated through the actions of each employee, including our new Administrator, Dameeko Knight!

Dameeko Knight

"I started working in healthcare right out of high school as an STNA in Alzheimer’s and dementia. I immediately grew a passion for caring for the elderly population. After six years, I decided to pursue career growth. I obtained my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. In 2022, I completed my AIT training and became licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator.



My enthusiasm for long-term care has led to a lifetime devotion to caring for residents and families. I take pride in the work and compassion all long-term care workers provide. Everyone has a story and a life to live, sometimes in new ways. My goal is to provide excellent care and customer service to all I touch.

Outside of work, I spend time with my dog, a Morkie named Tyson. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling and spending Sunday dinners with my family."
